What a privilege to see children who could have had extremely
hazardous lives, find a home in a community of love and commitment.
Only a 15 minute walk up a beautiful mountain took us to Ramana’s
Garden Children’s Home and Primary School (www.sayyesnow.org), nestled
Some of the children came at the age of two and grew up here into
successful citizens. Imagine, each child has its own bank account to
go to college. The children run a cafe and any tips go into this
account. What a treat to see children of all ages who are happy. Can
you help out by making a contribution?

I have always wanted to go to Rishikesh ever since I got my start in Yoga over 40 years ago. I was in Cleveland, Ohio for only two months but Yoga grabbed me and never let me go. The Guru there was from Rishikesh. What a special place! The most meaningful experience for me was my two hour sessions on the rocks doing yoga in a secluded place above the Ganges. The emanations are very powerful when we take the time to experience what is. Of course all of the people, the pilgrims and the aartis have vibrations too and they add a great deal as well. What is truly important, however, is to stay centered in our own practice and see how it can grow as we stay focused on it.
Welcome to my new Facebook page.
I have very recently returned from a magical trip to Rishikesh and the Kullu Valley, India. I have been scanning the area of the Kullu Valley for possible venues for teaching in 2 years! More news and pictures coming very soon.
